Well done and congratulations to the U12 JPL Team for their performance at the VW Junior Masters Tournament in Sydney. The boys played well throughout the tournament, making it to the Grand Final. which was against ECU Joondalup from Western Australia. The boys played their hearts out in cold and wet conditions which ended up going to a penalty shoot out. Unfortunately the boys didn't make it all the way, loosing the penalty shoot out, but it was a mammoth effort to make it to the Grand Final. A big thanks to the coaches & officials, who did a great job during the tournament as well as throughout the whole selection.

Congratulations to the U12A team for being selected to compete at the Volkswagen Junior Masters Australia Tournament, to take place in Sydney on the 1st & 2nd of October.
The winner of the tournament will go through to play off in the Volkswagen World Junior Masters Tournament, to take place in Poland, in May next year.
The boys had a great time showing off their skills during the filming of the footage for the DVD. Special thanks go to David Nye (Bravevision), for a great effort in putting the DVD footage together and Solitaire Motors Hawthorn for their help.

U12 School Sport Football Championships

Last week, two Adelaide City Juniors, Connor Lacey and Carlo Armiento, represented South Australia at the U12 School Sport Australia National Football Championships. The week long event was held in Canberra and attracted representative teams from all states and territories (except Tasmania). The SA team was beaten only once, (by the eventual champions NSW), and in doing so finished runners up, returning to Adelaide with the Silver Medal. Their most notable result was a 4 – 0 victory over the previously unbeaten Queensland team. Well done to all players involved.

The boys all put in 100% and were all very well behaved throughout the two days. In the end, Adelaide City U12 came out on top; a great effort by all the boys and coaching staff. They were all credit to ACFC Juniors......photo's
